Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that rushhournj.com uses, and how to control them. It’s part of our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages or visits. Some are set by the site you’re on (first-party). Others are set by services the site uses (third-party).
The cookies we use
Needed to run the site
These keep the site working and secure, so they can’t be switched off on our side:
- Cloudflare (
__cf_bm, andcf_clearanceif a security check appears). They protect the site from bots and attacks. They last from 30 minutes to a year. - WordPress (
wordpress_test_cookie, plus sign-in cookies for our staff only). They let the site and our staff tools work.
Analytics
- Google Analytics (
_gaand_ga_<ID>). They count visits and show which pages are useful, without identifying you to us. They last up to two years.
Embedded maps
- Google Maps. The map on our Visit page comes from Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads. Google’s privacy policy applies to them.
What we don’t use
No advertising cookies, no retargeting, and no social-media tracking pixels.
The RH Rewards app
The app doesn’t use cookies. It keeps your sign-in in your phone’s secure storage, and remembers a few settings on your device (such as whether you’ve seen the intro).
Your choices
- Your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. If you block the ones the site needs, parts of it may stop working.
- Google Analytics: you can opt out on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information. We don’t do either.
Changes and contact
If we add or change cookies, we’ll update this page and its date. Questions: [email protected].
