Rush Hour Rewards (the “program”) is the loyalty program of Rush Hour: The Billiards Bar. It’s run by Nexverta LLC. These program terms apply when you join or use the program or the RH Rewards app, together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By joining, you agree to them.

The basics:
  • You earn points on what you spend, at the earn rate shown in the app.
  • You earn on one receipt a day: your highest.
  • Points turn into a single-use certificate the moment you redeem them, and the certificate is good for 90 days.
  • Points expire after 12 months without a visit.
  • Nothing in the program is ever alcohol.

Who can join

  • You must be 13 or older and have a US mobile number that you control.
  • One account per person, and one person per phone number.
  • Rush Hour employees may be members, but they may not record points or redeem certificates for themselves while working.

Your account

  • Signing in: you sign in with a one-time code texted to your phone. There’s no password.
  • Your phone: keep your phone and number secure. You’re responsible for what happens through your account.
  • Your details: keep them accurate. Your birthday can’t be changed once it’s set. If we need to confirm who you are, we may ask you to.
  • Welcome bonus: when you complete your profile, you get 100 welcome points, once per person.

Earning points

  • The earn rate: we set how many points you earn for each dollar of eligible spend on a check at Rush Hour, and how partial dollars count. The app always shows the current rate. It may be our standard rate or a promotional one. Points are worked out at the rate in effect when the check is credited to your account.
  • What counts as eligible spend: the check’s subtotal after discounts, before tax and tip.
    • Buying a gift card doesn’t earn points, but spending one does.
    • House-account payments, fundraising charges and anything refunded don’t earn.
  • Getting credit: after you pay, scan your Rush Hour receipt in the app, or type in its check number, date and total, within 14 days of your visit. If staff added your phone number to the check at the register, it’s credited without a scan. Points are credited the morning after your visit, never on the day itself, so they can’t be redeemed on the same visit.
  • One receipt a day, the highest: you get credit for only one receipt (check) per business day, and it’s your highest. A business day runs 4AM to 4AM. A lower receipt that day earns nothing. If a higher one comes in later that day, you get only the difference, so the day is always credited at your highest receipt and counts as one visit.
  • Receipts: we verify every receipt against our register before crediting it. If the same receipt is sent from more than one account, it goes to the account that sent it first, unless the check already carries another member’s phone number.
  • One account per check: a check can be credited to one account only, ever.
  • Promotions: we may run a higher earn rate, bonus points or multiplied-point events. Each one works as described when we announce it, and ends when we said it would.
  • Reviews: we may hold unusually large checks, or unusual activity, for a manager to review before crediting.

Your points

Points have no cash value. They can’t be sold, transferred, combined between accounts or exchanged for cash or credit. Your balance and history are in the app. If you think something is missing, tell us and we’ll look into it.

When points expire

If your account goes 12 months without a visit that earns points, all of its points expire. We’ll try to warn you in the app before that happens. Every earning visit restarts the 12 months.

Redeeming rewards and certificates

  • Redeeming: choose a reward in the app. The points come off your balance at once and become a certificate with its own QR code and short code.
  • A certificate is single use, is a promotional reward with no cash value, and is valid for 90 days from when you redeem it.
  • Whoever holds a certificate can use it. You can keep it or send it to a friend. Keep it safe: we can’t replace a certificate that’s been lost or used by someone else, although we may at our discretion.
  • Using it: show the certificate to staff before you pay. They take the reward off your check. A certificate covers one reward, and any unused value is lost.
  • Other offers: a certificate can’t be combined with other offers unless we say it can.
  • Availability: rewards depend on availability. If one isn’t available, we may offer a reward of equal or greater value.

No alcohol

The program never offers alcohol, and points and certificates can’t be used for it. Alcohol is served only to guests 21 or older with valid ID, under New Jersey law, and never as part of the program.

Your birthday treat

Each year, in your birthday month, you get a free birthday certificate based on the birthday in your profile. It’s good through the end of that month. If you join during your birthday month, it arrives right away. We may change or end the birthday treat.

Voids, refunds and corrections

If a check is voided or refunded, we remove the points it earned. If points were credited by mistake, or missed, we correct them either way. If points you’ve already spent are later removed, we may deduct them from future points.

Text-message terms

Rush Hour Rewards sends these text messages:

  • Sign-in codes: one-time messages, sent only when you ask to sign in.
  • Offers and specials, only if you opt in in the app (“Text me game-day specials and offers”). These are recurring automated marketing messages, up to 4 a month.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to stop marketing texts, or turn them off in the app. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
  • Agreeing to receive texts isn’t a condition of any purchase.
  • Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • We don’t share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Notifications and email

If you allow them, the app sends notifications, for example when points land or a certificate is about to expire. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your phone’s settings. If you give us your email, we use it for account messages.

Misuse, suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account, and void its points and certificates, if we reasonably believe it’s involved in any of these:

  • fraud;
  • abuse of the program;
  • more than one account per person;
  • selling or buying points or certificates;
  • breaking these terms.

If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected].

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Account → Delete account. Your remaining points are forfeited. Certificates you’ve already redeemed stay valid until they expire, because you may have shared them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep.

Changes to the program

We may change the program, including the earn rate and how points are worked out, what rewards cost, the rewards themselves, expiration and these terms. We may also end the program.

  • Notice: for a change that reduces your benefits, such as lowering our standard earn rate, or for ending the program, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice in the app. The exception is where a change is needed sooner to stop fraud or to comply with the law. A promotion ending when we said it would isn’t a change that needs notice.
  • If the program ends: you can redeem your points during the notice period. After it, unredeemed points end.

Disputes

The arbitration agreement and class-action waiver in our Terms of Use apply to the program, including your right to opt out within 30 days. These terms are governed by New Jersey law. Nothing in them limits a right you have under New Jersey law that can’t be waived.
